Log Homes of Colorado is an Authorized Distributor for Pioneer and Rocky
Mountain Log Homes and Orvis Log Homes in Summit, Eagle, Lake, Jefferson
& Park Counties, Colorado.
Please visit our centrally located Frisco
office to meet our staff, browse our portfolio of custom log homes,
tour completed and under construction projects, and view log home floor
plans.
- We can show you dozens of our completed
custom log homes and projects
under construction to allow you to view our workmanship, a variety
of log styles, and floor-plan options.
- Our staff is available to advise and help design
your unique custom home from “sketch on a napkin” stage
to turn-key completion. We are available for consultation on appropriate
log selection.
- Mountain Log Homes specializes in Log and Log Accented
Construction. Although we would be honored to construct you entire
home, we allow the flexibility for you to use your own General Contractor
if you would prefer to use our expertise in the log components only.
Whichever option you choose, we are available for consultation throughout
your entire building process.
- We now offer full interior decorating and “finishing
touch” services. Our full time Design Coordinator can find the
perfect fixtures, tile, carpet, etc. for your new log home, or just
assist you on your journey.
- You may visit our new Design Center with samples
and supplier catalogs for all your finishing touches including flooring,
lighting and window treatments.
- Mountain Log Homes will analyze your budget, and
provide on-going cost accounting of your project.
- Mountain Log Homes clients have full access to our
preferred contractor rates for all the components of your home.
- Mountain Log Homes will keep you updated on the
progress of your home through weekly job-site photos by either e-mail
or pass-worded access to a private page on our web site throughout
the duration of you project.

Brian L. Wray
- President and owner of Mountain Log Homes of Colorado, Inc.
has been building log homes since 1982. As a 3rd generation Coloradoan,
he is no stranger to building in the elements. He understands
the challenges and rewards of building in the Rocky Mountains.
Brian is very responsive to current building techniques and codes
as a current Commissioner for the Summit County Planning &
Zoning Board of Adjustments and Board member of Summit County
Builders Association. Also, Brian was the honorable recipient
of the 2005 Builder of the Year & the 2003 Tri-Builder of
the Year Awards from SCBA. Brian feels his personal relationship
with every client is an important aspect in assuring each client
realizes the home of their dreams. |

Peggy Smith - General Manager
since 1999. Peggy holds a certification in Construction Management
from Penn State and the National Association of Home Builders. She
is the daughter of a renowned Central Pennsylvania General Contractor
and a participant in the family construction business since she
learned to talk. Peggy is often your first contact with Mountain
Log Homes. She manages the day to day operations and is involved
in permitting, budgeting and construction management. You can often
find Peggy putting in extra effort after hours to assure your project
runs smoothly. |

Karen Wray –
Design Coordinator. Karen coordinates all the finishing touches
that make your house a home. Her 2006 Parade Home won 8 design awards
including Grand Prize for interior decorating. Her eye for design,
space planning, and color and texture coordination are exceptional.
Karen continues to participate in design seminars to keep up with
current trends. She works closely with each homeowner and the Mountain
Log Homes Team to assure their vision becomes reality. |

Margaret “Pinky” Grzesiak
- Bookkeeper. Pinky has lived in Colorado for 32 years. Originally
from New Jersey, she has worked with numbers her entire life. Pinky
keeps the paperwork moving and will always answer the phone with
a smile. |

Tim Ernst - Tim has been with
Mountain Log Homes since 1998. Tim has a carpentry degree and can
do everything from rough frame to finish. His commitment to quality
workmanship has earned him the position of job foreman. His quiet
temperament is the result of his complete concentration on building
a home he would be proud of. |

Eric McKenna - Eric’s grandfather
is a fine woodworker. Eric started with Mountain Log Homes in 1998
as a carpenter helper with a strong desire to learn his grandfather’s
trade. His natural ability to learn the fine art of log home craftsmanship
his natural ability have turned him into a premiere log scriber
and an excellent finish carpenter. |

Eligio “Lee-ko” Chavarria
- Apprentice Carpenter. Leeko has been with MLHOC since Feb. of
2005. Lee-ko can be found doing everything on the job site from
heavy lifting, to measuring, to cleaning the work area. Originally
from Mexico, Lee-ko is a bi-lingual member of our team. |
